The Capitol Theatre (1390 W. 6th St., Cleveland) continues its bold
film programming with its exclusive engagement of KUMIKO, THE TREASURE HUNTER starting Friday, April 3rd.
Additionally, The Capitol Theatre will host a special double-feature of KUMIKO with the Oscar-winning film FARGO on Saturday, April 4th.
KUMIKO, THE TREASURE HUNTER stars Oscar-nominee Rinko Kikuchi as a
dissatisfied Japanese officer worker who leaves her job on a personal quest to
find the buried ransom money from the film FARGO.
Kumiko believes that FARGO is a
documentary and a veritable treasure map.
This acclaimed
film by David and Nathan Zellner has garnered some of the best reviews of the
year and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards including Best
Director and Actress.
On Saturday,
April 4th, Clevelanders will have a chance to see this great new
film as well as FARGO as part of a
special double feature. FARGO will
play at 4:20 PM and patrons can see KUMIKO
before FARGO at 1:20 PM or after at
7:20 PM as part of the double feature and will save $2.50 off the combined
admission price for both films.
Tickets for KUMIKO are $9 for adults after 6:00 PM
and $6.50 before 6:00 PM. Seniors are $6 all day. The film is not rated but
PG13 in nature. Tickets to FARGO are
$5 or $2.50 as part of the double-feature with KUMIKO. FARGO is rated
R. Tickets can be purchased at the
theatre box office or online at clevelandcinemas.com. Double feature tickets
are available at the theatre box office only.
